Inventor. Entrepreneur.
Metabolic Innovator.
From Strength Technology to Metabolic Innovation
I didn't set out to build another fitness business. I set out to change how strength training works.
My journey began with an engineering challenge: Could resistance exercise become more intelligent, more precise, and more effective through electronic control? That question led to the invention and commercialization of ExerTron, a pioneering strength-training technology that brought electronically controlled resistance to gravitational weight-stack equipment. But inventing the strength engine was only the beginning.
Chapter 01
From Engineering
to Human Metabolism.
What actually happens inside the human body when we exercise — and how little exercise might be necessary to produce meaningful, measurable results?
In 2011, I established MaxQ Fitness in South Tampa as a working laboratory for that pursuit.
Over the years, more than 60,000 one-on-one training sessions involving over 2,000 clients provided an extraordinary longitudinal foundation for studying strength development, body composition, waist circumference, and metabolic adaptation.
I began connecting the mechanical stimulus of exercise with the biological responses taking place inside muscle cells and mitochondria. The result was an entirely different way of thinking about exercise, energy balance, muscle development, and fat loss.

Chapter 02
The MaxQ15 Effect:
Minimum Effective Dose.
I challenged the conventional belief that better results require more time, more exercise, and greater dietary restriction.
What if the opposite could be true? What if intelligently prescribed resistance exercise, combined with an individualized nutritional strategy, could produce meaningful improvements with substantially less exercise?
The Protocol
15 Minutes. Twice a Week.
A Minimum Effective Dose (MED) approach designed to stimulate strength development, support muscle protein synthesis, promote metabolic adaptation, and improve body composition.
The Philosophy
EAT MORE. MOVE LESS. GET STRONGER.
Not by abandoning exercise or ignoring nutrition, but by making both work together more intelligently. The objective is to build and preserve muscle, reduce excess fat, improve strength relative to waist circumference, and measure the results rather than simply count workouts or calories.
Chapter 03
The Next
Chapter.
Today, my work brings together three developments. These are not three unrelated ideas. They represent the evolution of a single pursuit: making strength training more intelligent, accessible, measurable, and effective.
ExerTron®
Electronically controlled gravitational resistance.
ARMaxQ™
Microelectronic artificial resistance and the foundation for a new connected strength ecosystem.
MaxQ15 Effect
The biological and metabolic methodology that connects exercise stimulus, individual response, nutrition, and measurable outcomes.
I have spent decades inventing, testing, refining, and commercializing technologies and methodologies. The next chapter is about bringing that experience to a much larger audience.
My mission is simple: Help people achieve more with less exercise, better nutrition, and measurable results.
Welcome to MaxQ15.
Measure the work. Measure the strength. Measure the waist. Show the change.
